All pumpkin, everything?

There is not a person on this planet who looks forward to fall and loves pumpkin flavored things more than me. Luckily, it’s almost October and Pumpkin Spice everything is picking up right where we left it. Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Pumpkin Butter. Pumpkin Beer. It seems that Americans cannot get enough of the Pumpkin Spice craze – Starbucks PSL even has its own Twitter account and acronym (because saying the words “pumpkin spice latte” is so 2013).

HOWEVER, I recently tasted Trident’s Pumpkin Spice flavored layered gum here at the agency, and I have come to a conclusion: THE MADNESS NEEDS TO STOP. Pumpkin Spice flavoring goes great with baked goods, a bunch of different beverages, and candle scents…but Pumpkin Spice chicken sausage?!

Pumpkin Spice hummus?!?!?!

No, no, no, brands, you’re doing it wrong. Haven’t you ever heard of too much of a good thing? Brands need to hop off the pumpkin spice bandwagon ASAP, because enough is enough.

Not even my orange cat would use Pumpkin Spice cat litter. Get it together people. (JK she probably would, and then Instagram about it after.)
