It takes a lot to turn heads in New York – but BMW Motorcycles has done it by crashing (not literally) the big window displays at Bloomingdale’s flagship store at 59th & 3rd. With mannequins bedecked in hot leathers from hot designers like Diane von Furstenberg and Patterson J. Kincaid, this is a product integration that makes total sense. Why? Because both parties benefit. Stunning BMW motorcycle models add legitimacy to leather fashions, while the Bloomies name and their highly foot-trafficked windows put The Ultimate Riding Machine in front of new audiences who prize good brands.
