The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) announced on November 1, 2017 the winners of the 13th annual International Davey Awards. Honoring the finest creative work from small agencies around the world, this year’s Davey Award winners included The S3 Agency in Boonton, NJ. S3’s “#AdoptACityPet” advertising campaign for the Liberty Humane Society earned the agency a Silver Davey. More importantly, it earned increased awareness for an organization that is doing meaningful work to help homeless animals and their communities.

Over 4,000 entries were submitted from around the globe by agencies, firms, and companies who were hoping to receive the highly sought after recognition that comes with a Davey Award. The judges found The S3 Agency’s #AdoptACityPet outdoor ad campaign to be worthy of this year’s international award.

The S3 Agency launched a campaign for Liberty Humane Society designed to connect real people who want to make a real difference by adopting pets in real need.

“The agencies awarded this season truly reflect the notion that small agencies produce big ideas. The work entered into this year’s Daveys portrays the smart approach to creativity that embodies the capabilities and talents of small firms from across the world,” noted Derek Howard, Executive Director of the AIVA. He added, “On behalf of the Davey Awards and our Academy, we want to applaud this year’s entrants for their dedication and commitment to their craft. We offer our congratulations once again to those selected as winners for the exceptional work they submitted.”

“An honor of this magnitude has huge implications for our team,” said Denise Blasevick, CEO and Founding Partner of The S3 Agency. “We always strive to solve our clients’ communications challenges in the best way possible, and receiving a Davey Award is always an incredible privilege. Receiving this international award for our work on behalf Liberty Humane Society – an organization that is working tirelessly to better our communities in NJ for both animals and humans – takes that honor up an extra notch.” She added, “We are so very grateful to the AIVA for this recognition, which we hope will amplify the message even further for Liberty Humane Society.”
