What’s Your Clique-Through Rate?

In order for Facebook to be truly social in nature, apparently, it must allow for cliques and exclusionary tactics. I get this. While some people only “friend” those with whom they actually share close friendships, the majority are Facebook friends with people they probably wouldn’t recognize walking down the street (and definitely wouldn’t cross the street to wish them a happy birthday, although they’ll happily write it on their walls). So, how to sort out the 10 actual people you want to hear from out of the 1,000 you are “friends” with? By putting a “star” on their Facebook profiles:
