Sometimes you don’t need much copy to get the point across, you just need a good image. The new Stains Kill campaign from Old English does just that. The campaign portrays stained furniture as the victims in a crime scene – very clever way to give an unexciting product some life. Plain and simple, furniture with ugly stains is useless. But of course, Old English can fix that.
This is a very different approach from the typical wood product campaigns that focus on beautifying. And it stands out to today’s audiences who are being entertained by increasingly edgier material. It certainly is more attention getting than another ad that simply shows a pretty piece of furniture.
The message: Old English will do more than help you protect your furniture. It will help you not kill it.
PS: Let this serve as an important reminder – Don’t forget to clean your furniture before Grandma arrives for the holidays!
