Does Sex Still Sell?

The new Armani advertisement is, well, provocative to say the least. You will never see it plastered on America’s billboards because, though, because it was rejected by the Van Wagner Company – the industry leader in the development of outdoor advertising. Why? They felt it was “too racy”. I get that, and there are a lot of kids out there who would probably stare and question. But is Armani a victim of the double standard here? I wonder if the bare male bottom in the background had been cropped out, would the Van Wagner group have approved the nearly exposed breasts? My guess is, yes.
