Seeing Red? See Fashion Week with Eight O’Clock Coffee!

While their roots date back to 1859, Eight O’Clock Coffee’s marketing is anything but dated. “America’s Original Gourmet Coffee” just rebranded itself with a line of all-red coffee bags that hearken back to the company’s vintage red packaging – updated with a modern look, of course. In celebration of all things red and new, Eight O’Clock Coffee has launched a social media promotion called “Spot the Red Bag.” Participation is as easy as 1, 2…well, it’s just two steps really:

  1. Take a photo of ANY red bag (can be Eight O’Clock Coffee, a handbag, a grocery bag…you name it).
  2. Instagram it with the hashtag #SpotTheRedBag

What’s the prize? A Fashion Week Experience in New York. With America’s love of fashion and desire for coffee at all-time highs, the connection is emotionally sound…and the use of one of the most recent forms of social connection keeps the brand firmly planted in 2013.
