The S3 Agency helps Tacombi launch community kitchen

S3 Provides Probono PR Services to Amplify Awareness and Increase Help to Those in Need

Last week, NYC Mexican restaurant Tacombi launched the Tacombi Community Kitchen: a non-profit initiative to help feed the local communities hit hardest by the coronavirus. Now, when people go to Tacombi.com and order a meal through Tacombi Community Kitchen, 100% of proceeds from meal sales goes to paying staff, purchasing supplies, and to delivering meals to communities most in need. To amplify awareness while maximizing the impact Tacombi Community Kitchen will make, The S3 Agency is providing probono PR services.

With restaurant closures amidst the global COVID-19 crisis displacing thousands of workers who rely on every paycheck to support themselves and their families, Tacombi reopened their kitchens to provide fresh, healthy Mexican meals for those who want them and for those who need them – safely.

Each day, one new Mexican recipe will be offered to reach the most people effected by this crisis as possible. For every meal purchased at Tacombi.com, all proceeds will go to preparing, packaging and delivering meals to communities in need and frontline workers. For anyone just looking to help, there’s also an option for donations directly to their non-profit, The Tacombi Foundation, to sustain the kitchens and meal program.

Currently operating out of the Nolita location with a small staff to ensure the team works at a safe distance, Tacombi aims to scale this initiative and reopen their other kitchens to make the most positive impact. With over 1,200 meals prepared for distribution in just a few days after launch, Tacombi’s immediate goal is to produce and deliver 1,000 meals per day!

“We are touched to see so many businesses going above and beyond to help during this difficult time,” said Denise Blasevick, CEO of The S3 Agency. “Tacombi Community Kitchen is helping make sure employees have jobs and those in need have food – and we are honored to help by amplifying awareness of this noble initiative.”

“As soon as The S3 Agency heard about how we are helping our community and our employees with Tacombi Community Kitchen, they immediately offered their services at no cost,” said Tacombi’s Founder and CEO, Dario Wolos. “We are grateful to everyone who is contributing to our initiative as we seek to help as many people as possible.”
