Using Design to Reach the Most Important Audience: Your Own Child

As a father who makes his daughter’s lunch daily, I was blown away when I read about how this graphic designer has illustrated the plastic wrap on his children’s sandwich bags every day since 2008! While each design only lasts a day, he captured the “campaign” with photos that his family (and others like us) can enjoy long after each sandwich has been eaten.


Coming from a fine arts background, particularly illustration, I was filled with such a sense of awe and wonder that someone would take the time every day to do these creative little masterpieces. The reward: the anticipation his kids must feel wondering what will grace their daily PB &Js – and the excitement upon each lunchtime reveal.

If only I still had my set of markers from college…
