What’s new, pumpkin?

Brands welcome us to fall with pumpkin mania

Here we are in September and pumpkin fever is in full swing. Well, for me at least. And for many brands who are capitalizing on what seems to be a growth trend without limit.

Dunkin Donuts has released their pumpkin coffee. PSL is such an anticipated favorite that Starbucks no longer uses the full “pumpkin spice latte” name. And it’s only going to get better from here.

As a follow up to my blog post last year, I’m listing the newest, must have pumpkin/fall flavored products for 2016.

Pumpkin Spice Cheerios


Made with pumpkin puree?! As if I didn’t already love breakfast enough. Can you imagine what the milk will taste like? Yes, yes, and yes.

Pumpkin Spice Nutri-Grain Bars

I grew out of Nutri-Grain bars a long time ago, but for a pumpkin spice filling I’d be willing to reconsider.

White Boo-tterscotch M&M’s


Okay, so this isn’t pumpkin flavored – BUT it’s a limited edition for Halloween, and butterscotch is a great fall flavor. PLUS it’s being touted as the butterbeer m&m, which as a Harry Potter superfan, I can get behind.

Pop-Tarts Frosted Caramel Apple

I couldn’t actually find a photo of this but I think it earns an honorable mention. I am a big fan of Pop-Tarts and tackling the sticky sweet flavor of caramel apple is no easy task.

I’m always surprised (and sometimes disgusted) by the new fall flavored products that brands choose to release, and I can’t wait to see what the world will come up with next.
