December starts tomorrow – and thoughts turn to tree trimming, holiday shopping, cookie baking and, of course, the Mayan-Calendar-proposed end of the world. While we’ll just have to wait and see how insightful the Mayans actually were, that hasn’t stopped the good folks at HowStuffWorks.com from laying out possible scenarios for mankind’s demise – and creating a bracket for voting on the awesomest one. Sadly, my personal favorite – “GMOcalypse” was voted out. This morning the winner was announced: “Zombie Apocalypse” takes the cake for the Coolest Way the World Could End.
